Process
Painting is as much, if not more, about process than the final outcome. Colours are chosen by intuitive response and each subject demands individual responses, a process that sometimes asks questions like, "Orange? Why am I using orange?" The outcome is always unexpected and vibrant.
Oil Portraits
I like to choose from a large variety of candid photographs before I decide on a composition. This enables me to get a real sense of the individual character.
